A Tribute to Those we Remember

The Hospice Foundation of Jefferson County is proud to announce the establishment of the "ForEvergreen" Tree. This giving program will serve as a lasting tribute and monument to honor the memory of a family member or friend, or to recognize a special occasion or achievement.

The Evergreens

This hand carved tree made of solid hardwood is an original work of art by artist Sanford Werfel of Avenel, New Jersey. It is a one-of-a-kind sculpture designed especially for the Hospice Foundation of Jefferson County, Inc.

The evergreen design was selected for its representation of the area we live in. Each needle cluster(leaf), pine cone, and donor stone will be inscribed with the names or occasions of those to be remembered or honored, and those who gave the gift.
