Hospice of Jefferson County is an organization with a rich tradition of outstanding, compassionate care in our community. Due to the generous support of donors and philanthropists, we have been able to continue this care for patients and their families and to fulfill our mission: To provide expert, compassionate, comprehensive care and services to individuals and their loved ones experiencing life-limiting illness and loss.
What about our future? Over the years the Hospice Foundation has grown and planning for our future has become more important today than ever before. Annual events, sponsorships, memorial donations and annual campaigns are some of the many ways a person can give to Hospice. Giving of “appreciated assets”, and the idea of Philanthropic Giving opens up new opportunities beyond our annual donations. It allows one to extend a gift beyond their own lifetime. A benefactor can leave a lasting legacy in his or her name to recognize and help sustain the future of Hospice of Jefferson County.
There are several ways to donate or leave a charitable bequest to Hospice. Charitable gifts to Hospice of Jefferson County, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, may provide income tax advantages.
