Director of Finance
Hospice of Jefferson County Inc. is seeking a Director of Finance. Working closely with the CEO and Boards of Directors, the position is responsible for developing and implementing the annual budgets for the Hospice and Palliative Care programs; managing all financial records including accounting functions; submitting monthly insurance billing; managing accounts receivable; filing required federal and state reports; and assisting families with insurance issues.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance and 5 years of experience in a finance position in a non-profit agency. A Master’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting preferred. Alternative combinations of education and experience will be considered. Exceptional communication and team-building skills required.
